A woman came to meet him dressed like a prostitute having a hidden agenda.
All single ladies are looking for a man. Well, that might be exaggerating just a bit because not all single ladies are looking for a man. However, some single ladies are. The first thing we do in order to attract that man is make sure our appearance is on point and there is nothing wrong with that but too often our appearance lack dignity by the way we dress. Some of us wear very skimpy (and I mean very skimpy, hoeish looking) clothes with way too much showing. Has anyone ever told you that you don’t have to dress like a hoe? If not then let me say: Ladies we don’t have to dress like hoes. Just because H&M makes it does not mean we have to wear it. What kind of attention are we looking to attract? I was watching a music video on Youtube. The song was THOT WALK and the lyrics were interesting to say the least. The guys were singing about females dressing like hoes. In short he said if you dress like a hoe I will treat you like a hoe. There it is right there. Ladies, if we dress like hoes we will be treated like hoes.
I was reading Proverbs chapter 7 recently and it was very interesting. It speaks about a woman dressed like a harlot (i.e. hoe). Her goal is to seduce and have sex with dudes while her husband is away. I guess her husband wasn’t giving it to her the way she liked so she looked for it else where which wasn’t right either. Well, the point of this chapter is to show the reader both guys and ladies who to beware of. Ladies, this Proverbs 7 chick was dressed like a hoe because that’s the lifestyle she was practicing. As a lady I don’t want to be confused with a hoe nor treated like a hoe; therefore, I select my clothes with dignity so that dudes that look my way will treat me with dignity. Just like when I look at a guy I don’t want to see his draws but that’s a topic for another day. What kind of attention do you receive by the way you dress? What kind of message are you sending out? What kind of man are you trying to attract? The way you dress says a lot about who you are. Dress with dignity! LivingTheLife for Christ.
